STAGING IRISH LITERATURE AND CULTURE
SILC is a training course for English Language Teachers in secondary schools. They should have an interest in learning abot Ireland, Irish literature & culture and integrating this into their classrooms. They should also be open to using authentic materials, computers and internet in their classrooms. A basic working knowledge of is recommended for this courses, the main objectives of which are:
- to expose participants to using authentic materials
- to integrate authentic materials and computers into ELT
- to raise awareness of Ireland and Irish culture and how this can be used to increase and enhance English Language acquisition.
