Part-Time Intensive English

• 19 lessons (16 hours) per week
• Classes meets Monday to Thursday every week.
• Students work with two different teachers (one for the morning class and one for the afternoon class).
• The most up-to-date, effective textbooks and materials are used.
• The course is communicative-based with an emphasis on speaking and listening skills.
• Six different levels of study, from beginner to advanced.
• A placement test at the start of the course.
• At the end of each four-week session, each student will receive a written evaluation and have a one-to-one counseling session with one of their teachers. 
• After each three month semester, students receive a report card.
• Certificate a the end of the course.

This has been a progressive ESL school since 1989.  It is located in Costa Mesa, less than an hour from Los Angeles, in Orange County, where some of the safest cities in the USA are to be found, and where some of the best surfing locations in the world are to be found.

The school itself is in a modern building at the classy Metro Point in Costa Mesa. Right in front of the building, there is an open air food court where students enjoy the weather and have their lunch. The classic California architecture leads you along a walk way joined with retail stores, movies, colourful kiosks, and ends around a picturesque water fountain.

Homestay - to give visiting foreign students a first-hand experience of American culture by sharing in everyday host family life. As well as being able to use practical English language skills they have learned in school, it is expected that students will be able participate in family activities for a holistic view of life in Orange County.

A staff member visits each of the host families with students' interests in mind. All families have also had a police background check. The aim is to provide our students with a secure, educational and vibrant environment. Host families live in safe, comfortable neighbourhoods in Costa Mesa, Irvine, Huntington Beach, and surrounding areas.
