INTEGRATING REAL ENGLISH AND NEW DEVELOPMENTS

IRELAND LANGUAGE is a two week training course. All participants should be teaching in an English Language environment. They should have an interest in learning about Ireland and Irish culture and integrating this into their English Language Teaching. They should also be open to using authentic materials, computers and internet in their classrooms. A basic working knowledge of computers is recommended for this course.

The main objectives of this course are:

• To expose participants to for using authentic materials in the classroom
• To integrate authentic materials & computers into ELT
• To raise awareness of Ireland and Irish culture and how this can be implemented to increase English Language acquisition
