Classes are based on communicative French and structural progression in mornings. Class times are 9.30am to 1.00pm, including a 30 minute recess, while in the afternoons between 2.00pm to 4.00pm, there is a series of workshops.   Each week students may choose the workshops they wish to attend, for example: grammar, pronunciation, professional French, listening skills, writing skills, reading skills.

There are groups at 5 different levels from beginners to advanced students, and courses start every Monday. On the first day there is an evaluation and needs analysis session in the morning and on the first afternoon the school offers a free orientation session for new students, introducing them to the city of Rouen.

The maximum number of students in each group is 8.

Individual lessons for students can be organised at any time.  These are tailor-made to the student's specific needs.  Just ask for details.

There is a metro stop just by the school so it is easy to get to it from every part of the city, and it is 5 minutes' walk from the bustling commercial area known as St Sever.  The pedestrian zone includes a shopping mall with over 200 shops.  There is also a municipal library, swimming pool, sports facilities and a theatre.

Host families - who will not only introduce to you to the French way of life and help you to practise the language but will also give you a taste of the local and delicious regional specialities.They will provide

• breakfast and dinner during the week and full board at weekend
• a single room

Executive host family accommodation is also available, which includes a private bathroom. 

Price:  € 260  per week

**Students with specific dietary needs or preferences should make this known at the time of booking, so that a suitable family can be found for them.**

Residences - three possibilities in Rouen:

• Residence Hotelière - a brand new residence near the school offering a superior standard and services including breakfast.  Price: single room from € 550 per month (or € 30 per night for shorter stays) + € 80 resgistration fee.
• 2 residences in central Rouen with studio accommodation, less modern than the Residence hotelière, further from the metro.  Price: €  380 per month + electricity (based on a four-month let).  A deposit of one month's rent will be charged, returnable at the end of the course, provided that the student has not damaged the apartment.
• Studio in family house - some host families with large houses, about 20/30 minutes from the school, have transformed their upper floors into studios and offer single rooms for up to five students, who share bathroom and kitchen facilities.  Price: from € 280 per month + electricity.
