THE EXPLORE LONDON EXPERIENCE
This exciting Summer Vacation course is designed for teenagers aged 12 - 17 years who want to improve their English, make friends, explore London and enjoy different social activities. It offers teenagers the opportunity to learn English and have a a fun vacation, with exciting excursions, but also guarantees parents a high level of supervision and a commitment to safety.
The Explore London Experience weekly programme includes:
- 15 full hours English tuition per week with enthusiastic, professional teachers

- A carefully planned academic programme
- Maximum 15 students in each class
- 4 half-day excursions in central London
- 1 half day of sports & activities
- 1 full day excursion outside London
- 1 full day excursion in London
- All travel & admissions on excursions
- 7 evening activities
- Homestay accommodation (if preferred) for students aged 16 and 17
- School staff living on site in residential accommodation
- Single en suite rooms in the student residence
- Free Internet connection in every room (Students must bring their own laptops.)
- 3 healthy meals per day
- 24 hour security & welfare support

The lessons are given by carefully chosen, trained teachers and include all language skills, project and diary work and preparation for excursions. Language learning is taken very seriously but is achieved through fun activities concentrating on improving the students' confidence in speaking and understanding English.
The excursions
On the Explore London Experience students really explore London and return home with wonderful memories. Over the 4 weeks of the programme, the half-day London excursions may include
- Buckingham Palace

- The Tower of London
- The London Eye
- Chelsea football Stadium
- The Houses of Parliament
- The British Museum
- Covent Garden
- The Science Museum
- St Paul's Cathedral
- Camden Town and Markets
Full day excusions (in and out of London) may include 
- Cambridge (with punting on the River Cam
- A visit to Greenwich by riverboat
- London open-top bus tour
- Tower of london and Tower Bridge
- Windsor, including the Castle
- Oxford, including Harry Potter locations
- Brighton, including Sea Life
Free afternoon
There is one afternoon a week when students can relax and spend time with their new friends, do art activities or play sports. Students are of course still supervised during this period.
Evening fun
Events organisers arrange disco nights, fun competitions, international events, fancy dress competitions, cinema nights, and much much more, so that students can enjoy themselves with their new international friends.

Airport Transfers are not included in the above prices. They are managed by the school's own experienced staff, and are specially designed for teenage students.
School Details
The educational centre used for The Explore London Experience is situated about five or six miles from the Quality English school which organises and manages it. The course takes place in the London borough of Barnet, in a modern college with neighbouring residential accommodation
Accommodation Details
Students stay in a modern residence next door to the college. Students aged 16 or 17 may choose to stay with a family in the local area, which allows them a little more independence than younger students have.
The residence
- is five minutes' walk from High Barnet underground station (Northern Line)
- offers single or twin study bedrooms with free Wi-Fi access
- is arranged in apartments of eight bedrooms, with communcal room for relaxing, and shared showers and toilets
- has a self service launderette on site, for which a small charge is made
Homestay accommodation
- is in the local area
- is available only for students aged 16 and 17
- can be in single or twin rooms
The meals
Meals are tasty and healthy,with many options including vegetarian. Students eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the college where they have their lessons. Packed lunches are provided on the days they have full excursions. On all other days, hot lunches are served.
The meals taste good, but are well balanced to provide a healthy diet.
Students staying with a local family have breakfast with them, but all other meals at the college.
