The programme will give students an impression of the importance of Cologne as a religious and political centre in the Europe of the Middle ages.  It is a 6-hour programme, bookable on a weekly basis, and will run if a minimum of two students wish to participate.  The programme consists of 2 excursions a week within Cologne with language and thematical preparation beforehand.

Students plan their own programme of visits, in consultation with their teachers.  This may include

• a visit to the world famous Romisch-Germanisches Museum
• a visit to the Wallraf-Richartz Museum
• a visit to Museum Ludwig Additionally
• visits to the Gothic cathedral, and Romanesque churches,  giving an interesting insight into religious architecture.

Programme price:  € 250 per week

This course is available only in Cologne, and only in conjunction with Intensive German Plus.
